Watch: Omega Geneve Admiralty 135.042 Watch Only c.1970
Stock Number: CHW4643
Price: £1,595

In our view, this is a watch that carries signs of time with it. Created in 1953 the Geneve line was responsible for about 60% of Omega’s production up until 1979 when laws in Switzerland changed and Omega weren’t allowed to carry on with that model name. It is said that in the early 70s all male workers were gifted an Admirality watch after a year’s service whilst women working in the factory were given a funding supplement.

The Omega Geneve Admiralty, model 135.042, comes to us a very good condition, however, it is not accompanied by any box or papers but we anticipate it’s production year is circa 1970.. It is provided with our 12-month comprehensive warranty.

The timepiece features a 37mm stainless steel case, rotating bezel with 10-minute engravings throughout, silver dial with baton hour markers, a striking orange seconds hand, all underneath a plexiglass.

Operates from a manual winding movement caliber 601. Fitted to a black rubber strap with a stainless steel pin buckle.

Should you require any further images/information about this or any other watch we have, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
