Watch: Omega Aircrew 2nd World War 1943
Stock Number: CHW4115
This all important vintage Omega dates back to 1943 (as per the movement number) and was an Air Crew watch issued to the British Military in particular pilot’s in the second world war.
Omega watches were commonly used by the Ministry of Defence throughout the second world war due to what many would say was their accuracy, reliability and the ability of Omega to produce the numbers that were needed in the timeframes required.
White dial on this 34mm manual wind watch with black Arabic numerals with the track running around the outside of the bezel marking the minutes making it easier to be precise with the time. Steel case.
There are some blemishes and marks on the dial namely between 2 and 3 and 9 and 10 however we have chosen to leave these as they are. An excellent example of this watch that remains unpolished and sharp. Having passed through our workshop its in working order although as you would expect we wouldn’t state water resistant.
If you have any further interest and would like additional photo’s, video’s or have any questions feel free to get in touch we would be happy to help.
